Aim by dragging anywhere on the cloth; the cue turns around the cue ball. A tap aims straight at the spot. The ribbon beside the power bar turns it a hair at a time.

Shoot by pulling the power bar and letting go. Pull it back to the start to change your mind.

Spin: tap the little cue ball and choose where the tip meets it — high to follow, low to draw back, left or right to bend off a cushion.

Ball in hand: drag the cue ball where you want it. Behind the line means behind the head string.

Clear and Today: pot every ball, any order. 9-Ball: always hit the lowest ball first. A scratch, or the wrong ball first, costs a shot. Fewest shots wins; time breaks a tie. Every rack is replayed on the server before it goes on the leaderboard.

8-Ball: the computer breaks or you do, the first ball potted after the break picks your group, and the 8 goes last. A foul gives the other side the cue ball anywhere.
