One entry each — your fastest game at each size.

Every row was replayed on the server before it was accepted: the board, the order of the taps, and the milliseconds between them. The time is recomputed from that replay, never taken from the app.

What that proves is that a real board was really cleared. It does not prove a person did it — a program that plays well produces a replay that is valid, because it is.

A flag by your name on the boards, for good, and the name you play as. The game stays the same for everyone — a board is only worth something if nobody can buy a better place on it.

These are counted in this browser and are never sent anywhere. Losses cannot be verified — there is no replay of a game that ended early — so they are kept here rather than put on a shared board beside numbers that were checked.

How the no-guess promise works

Every board is generated and then solved before you see it. If a deal needed a coin flip, it was thrown away and another was dealt.

When you make your first tap, the app deals mines everywhere except the nine cells under and around your finger, then hands the board to a solver that plays it out using logic only — the numbers, the subsets between them, the mine counter, and an exact enumeration of the frontier.

If the solver ever has to guess, the deal is discarded and another is tried. You only ever see a board that was finished before you started. Every position you reach has a next move you can prove, and Hint will show you one.

If something looks wrong

Close the app fully and open it again. Most things clear here. Updates download in the background while you play and are picked up on the next launch, so the first launch after a fix can still be the old version — a second one will not be.
If a message says something could not load, tap Retry on it. Nothing you had is lost; the app keeps the last good copy on screen rather than drawing an empty one.
If it says your session ended, sign in again. Your times and your ranks live on the server, not on this phone, so nothing goes with it. Signing in should now last about a year of not playing at all — if it asks more often than that, say so.
If taps land on the wrong square, read out the tap check below. It is measured on this screen, on the board you last played, and it says which square the app thinks you touched.
Only if it is still wrong after two launches: note the two lines below and what the screen said, and clear this site's data in Safari as a last resort. That signs you out and loses nothing else.
